About The Product

Carved from a single block of Amethyst, this is a piece with real presence. Broad crystal facets run across the crown in bands of milky white and saturated violet, and warm mineral inclusions surface near the temple where the stone once grew against its host rock. These markings are nature's fingerprints, not flaws. No two skulls of this size are ever alike.

Every skull is carved entirely by hand, then polished to a mirror finish. Deep-set eye sockets, a clean triangular nasal cavity, hard-edged cheekbones and a full row of individually cut teeth give the piece its anatomical weight, while each polished facet catches light at a different angle. It measures 7.0 × 4.5 × 5.3 inches and weighs 3,700 g — close to life-size, and heavy enough that you lift it with both hands.

The name comes from the Greek amethystos — "not intoxicated". The ancient Greeks carved drinking vessels from this stone, believing it would keep the mind clear, and medieval bishops wore it in their rings as a sign of composure and sober judgment. At this scale it is less an ornament than a centrepiece — for a console table, a study shelf or a collector's cabinet. For spiritual reference only.

Hand-Carved Art

Masterful Craftsmanship

Every socket, every tooth, every ridge of bone is shaped by hand from one solid block of amethyst, then polished until light runs across each facet. No mould. No machine. Only patience.

No Two Alike

Sourced from Nature

Broad facets of violet and milky quartz lock together across the stone, formed underground over millions of years. Yours will not look exactly like this one. That is the point.

Centrepiece

Serene Ambiance & Warm Companionship

At seven inches and nearly eight pounds, this is a piece you lift with both hands - a centrepiece for a console, a shelf, a collector's cabinet. The Greeks called it amethystos: the stone of a clear mind.
